On Thursday, two days after their first debate in Philadelphia, Trump stated that Harris only wanted a rematch because he had “clearly” won. However, polls taken immediately after the debate suggested voters felt Harris had performed better. In response, Harris, speaking at a rally in North Carolina, said another debate is owed to voters due to the high stakes of the election.
