The NFL and White House are expected to make an announcement on Monday that the 2027 draft will be held in Washington, D.C. The goal is to hold it on the site of the National Mall.
President Donald Trump will welcome NFL commissioner Roger Goodell and Washington Commanders owner Josh Harris for the proceedings.
The draft, which has been an annual traveling road show since 2015, was held last month in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The 2026 selection process is scheduled for Pittsburgh in April.

The 2025 draft drew 600,000 to Green Bay over three days. The record attendance is 750,000 and occurred in 2024 in Detroit.
