Bills Wire's final 2025 NFL draft mock projections

The Buffalo Bills are finally at the 2025 NFL draft.

This year’s event begins on Thursday from Green Bay with the first round. Then Day 2 is slated for Friday and the remainder of the draft is on Saturday.

Heading into the draft, Buffalo holds 10 total selections including No. 30 overall. Of those 10, the Bills had two others in the second round as well.

Let’s make our final predictions now via editor Nick Wojton and contributing writer Justin DiLoro.

Here is Bills Wire’s final 2025 draft mock:

Round 1, pick 30:

Wojton’s pick: CB Maxwell Hairston, Kentucky

Hairston is a fit for the Bills. Despite fan favorite Tre’Davious White heading back to Buffalo, a long-term option across from Christian Benford is needed. Hairston is a ball-hawking defender that can excel in a zone defense like the one head coach Sean McDermott runs. Hairston also had a pre-draft visit in Buffalo.

DiLoro’s pick: CB Trey Amos, Ole Miss

Amos makes the most sense at this spot for the Bills. Unless the Bills trade up, several prime prospects will be selected by the 30th spot. Amos is among the next tier of cornerbacks in this draft. There’s Travis Hunter in his own elite tier, and then there are the extremely good cornerbacks, with Amos in that category. This works well for Buffalo, as Amos fills a massive need on the roster. Amos has the potential to be the CB2 in Week 1. The First Team All-SEC cornerback ended a successful collegiate career with 50 tackles, 16 passes defensed, 3.5 sacks, and three interceptions. He played in a variety of defensive sets last year, making him a pro-ready prospect with his game IQ.

Round 2, pick 56:

Wojton’s pick: DT TJ Sanders, South Carolina

Like Hairston, Sanders had a pre-draft visit in Buffalo. He’s also a defensive fit. Ed Oliver will continue to lead the line in the middle for the Bills moving forward. Sanders is described as a “powerful road block” on the defensive front, which is the exact fit that this defense needs next to Oliver.

DiLoro’s pick: LB Carson Schwesinger, UCLA

I debated this one a bit, but I think the Bills stick with the defensive side of the ball and work to add depth to their linebacker corps. Schweisinger is a linebacker who gets to the ball carrier in a hurry. He also played over 500 special teams snaps, giving him easy entry into the Bills lineup. Schwesinger was named a First Team All-American and First Team All-Big Ten player. He led the Big Ten in tackles with 136. In addition, he recorded two interceptions last year. Schwesinger could be the heir apparent to Matt Milano.

Round 2, pick 62:

Wojton’s pick: DE Oluwafemi Oladejo, UCLA

A former middle linebacker, Oladejo is a project but his pre-draft testing went very well which has moved him up draft boards. Oladejo will need to develop more as a pass rusher but the Bills defense has Joey Bosa, Greg Rousseau, and more pieces on their depth chart that can allow Oladejo to grow into the pro game.

DiLoro’s pick: DT Alfred Collins, Texas

This is a spot where I can see the Bills moving down. Collins fills a need on the Bills defensive line. Buffalo needs a beast who can command the A-gap. Collins was versatile in the line for the Longhorns, seeing time as a 1-tech, but also saw some substantial time as a 3-tech lineman. It’s not the sexiest pick in the draft, but with DaQuan Jones nearing the end of his contract and the Bills struggles with the interior of the line, Collins could make himself a fixture for Buffalo for a long time. At 332 pounds, Collins is the big body that can eat double teams for the remainder of the line.
