Unless some type of catastrophe happens or a team decides to make an insane offer to the Tennessee Titans, it appears that Cam Ward will be the selection at No. 1 overall in the 2025 NFL draft. While this has not been verified by anyone in the organization, all signs point to it happening.
When talking about veterans such as Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins, Brad Gagnon of Bleacher Report agrees with this scenario for the Titans and identified it as part of his review of the remaining quarterback carousel heading into the NFL draft.

I’m not going to pretend to know he’s the real deal, because nobody does. That said, he can make all the throws and his red flags are addressable. You don’t get a shot like this often, and Ward is worth the swing at the top.
While the front office and staff have been trying to keep this under wraps, too many reports about the high cost of doing business for the top pick have surfaced to make any analyst think anything different.
Ward is an ascending talent and has the ability to be a tremendous NFL quarterback. Athletic but better from the pocket, he should be able to adapt to head coach Brian Callahan’s system and be successful if the Titans can put the pieces in place around him.
